Ground Beef Taco Casserole

It's easy to whip up a delicious Ground Beef Taco Casserole! Thanks Fran from Texas for the recipe.Ingredients: - 1 pound ground meat cooked with 1 chopped onion
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups grated cheese, divided (I used sliced jalapeno cubes)
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1 small jar diced pimientos (I used 1 can green chilies)
- Crushed taco shells, or crushed tortilla chips, or even crushed corn chips
Directions: Cook hamburger meat and onion, drain grease. In a large saucepan, combine soup, 1 cup of grated cheese, milk, green chilies, and pimientos. Cook on medium heat until all ingredients are combined well and cheese is melted. Add meat to mixture. Spray a 9X13 casserole dish with cooking spray. Cover the bottom of the dish with slightly crushed taco shells or chips. Pour meat/sauce mixture over chips and top with remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until bubbly and hot.
