Hamburger and Noodle Casserole
Ingredients for Hamburger and Noodle Casserole: - 1 lb. ground meat
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (10 ¾ oz) can tomato soup
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 c. water
- 2 T. butter or oil
- ½ tsp. salt
- 2 c. cooked, drained noodles
- ½ tsp. paprika
- 1 (4-oz) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 (1 ½ oz) ctn. Parmesan cheese
Directions: Brown beef, onion, pepper in oil. Cook noodles. Mix together the mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, soup, water, salt, paprika and Parmesan cheese. Grease a 1 ½ to 2 quart casserole dish. Make layers of ingredients in this order: noodles, meat mixture, mushroom soup mixture. Continue to alternate layers. Cook uncovered at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes or until bubbly hot. Serves 5 to 6.
