Hamburger Noodle Cheese Casserole
INGREDIENTS FOR HAMBURGER NOODLE CHEESE CASSEROLE: - 2 lbs. ground round steak
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 5 green onions and tops thinly sliced
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 (12-oz) pkg. medium size noodles
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 cup grated Cheddar cheese
- Black Pepper to taste
- 4 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
Directions: Brown the ground round, drain. Add garlic salt, salt, sugar and pepper. Cook until well blended. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 15 minutes. Soften the cream cheese and mix with the sour cream and sliced onions. Cook noodles as directed on package and drain. In a buttered 4-quart casserole, layer ingredients in this order: noodles, meat, sauce, cheese mixture, grated cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serves 8
