Sausage Casserole Recipe

Ingredients for Sausage Casserole Recipe:

  • 2 cans of Crescent Dinner Rolls or if available 2 cans of Pillsbury Recipe Creations (easier!)
  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 1 (8 oz) package of cream cheese
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Unroll 1 can of dough and place into 9X13 casserole baking dish, press together seams (if you use the RecipeCreations, there are no seams). Press over bottom and stretching up sides to form a crust.

Brown sausage in large skillet over medium heat. Drain grease, set aside sausage. Add cream cheeseto same skillet, and cook over low heat until melted. Add the cooked sausage, and stir to coat. Spoon evenly overcrust in baking dish, and then sprinkle with grated cheese.

Unroll the second can of dough (press together seams unless using recipe creations!) Place on top of sausage cheese mixture.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 21-25 minutes or until golden brown.
